In these consolidated appeals, appellants challenge the sentences imposed after their pleas of guilty to violations of 21 U.S.C. § 841(a).1 Appellants argue that the relevant statute and Sentencing Guidelines ("guidelines") are ambiguous because they use a 100:1 weight ratio for "cocaine base" and "cocaine" offenses and thereby punish cocaine base offenses more severely despite the fact that cocaine and cocaine...
