Appellant, Lori Dutcher, successfully proved her employer, appellee Randall Foods, violated the Equal Pay Act1, see 29 U.S.C. § 206(d) (1992), and the Iowa Civil Rights Act, see Iowa Code ch. 216 (1993). A jury awarded Dutcher lost wages and benefits. The trial court, however, refused to award Dutcher liquidated damages, damages for emotional distress and attorney fees. Dutcher appealed.
