This is an interlocutory appeal brought by the State, pursuant to Ark.R.Crim.P. 3(a)(2). The State contends that the trial court erred in granting the appellee's motion to suppress his confession. We agree and reverse and remand.

On August 30, 1995, John Edward Johnson was charged with one count of rape, two counts of aggravated robbery, and two counts of theft of property. The charges were brought in connection with the June 25, 1995...
