CORNELIUS, Chief Justice.

Kelly Ridgeway appeals from a judgment determining custody of her biological daughter, Tamara Hidalgo. The judgment named Ridgeway and Margaret Williams (the child's stepgrandmother) as joint managing conservators, and the minor's stepmother, Karol Hidalgo, as possessory conservator. Ridgeway contends that the court erred in naming Karol Hidalgo as a conservator because she had no standing to even be involved in the suit...
