Wheaton Van Lines appeals from the judgment entered in the Superior Court (Cumberland County, Saufley, J.) affirming the judgment of the District Court (Bridgton, Donovan, J.) in favor of Hayes Gahagan. Wheaton Van Lines argues the District Court erred as a matter of law in holding that Gahagan's lack of explicit designation as consignee on the bill of lading shielded him from liability for a $13,756.89 freight bill.
