These actions arose under § 25-5-11, Ala. Code 1975. The plaintiffs claimed damages for injuries they claimed to have suffered from an alleged exposure to asbestos during their employment. The plaintiffs, Joseph Barron and others,1 worked for many years at a plant in Pelham operated by Sepco Corporation.
