Petitioner appeals from a judgment denying him post-conviction relief. ORS 138.530(1)(a). On appeal, petitioner seeks relief on the ground that his right to due process of law under the Fourteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution was violated when the judge at his criminal trial had an ex parte contact with a witness at the trial.
