Wanda Heflin filed a wrongful termination and defamation suit against the Sabine Association for Retarded Citizens (SARC) to recover damages for wrongful termination and defamation. The trial court granted SARC's motion for involuntary dismissal, finding that Ms. Heflin did not show that she had a right to relief based on the law and evidence.
