Appellant Thomas Sanchez pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute cocaine base and was sentenced to sixty months' imprisonment. He did not appeal. After serving eight months, however, Sanchez filed a pro se motion for habeas corpus relief, which the district court denied.
