A jury returned a verdict in the amount of $141,877.84 in favor of Kevin White, d/b/a K.W. Communications ("White"), on his claim for breach of contract against the Curators of the University of Missouri (the "University"). On this appeal from the judgment entered on that verdict, the University contends that the trial court erred in giving a verdict-directing instruction submitted by White, and in not giving its proposed affirmative defense instruction...
