We consolidate these appeals from the respective denials of Jerry Montgomery's sixth and seventh successive petitions for habeas corpus relief from his conviction for murder.
On April 30, 1986, a Lake County, Indiana jury found Montgomery guilty of murder for killing his father. The court sentenced him to forty years' imprisonment. Montgomery appealed to the Indiana Supreme Court, which affirmed his conviction. Montgomery v. State,
