Before us are three consolidated appeals arising out of a protracted landlord-tenant dispute. The Rittenhouse Limited Partnership (RLP) owns the Rittenhouse Apartments on Sixteenth Street, N.W., which is managed by United Management Company. Oliver A. Cowan is the general partner in RLP.
