NORRIS, Judge.

Johnny Joe was indicted for the second degree murder of James Hines in violation of La.R.S. 14:30.1. Joe was tried by a 12-member jury and found guilty as charged. The District Court imposed the mandatory life sentence at hard labor without benefit of parole, probation or suspension. Joe now appeals his conviction, alleging seven assignments of error. For the reasons expressed, we affirm.
