The Board on Professional Responsibility ("the Board") has recommended that respondent, a member of our bar, be disbarred under D.C.Code § 11-2503(a) (1995) on the ground that he was convicted of a crime involving moral turpitude. Respondent, noting that he was convicted of only a misdemeanor, argues that his crime was not one of moral turpitude, and that the standard for disbarment under D.C.Code § 11-2503(a) is unconstitutionally...
