On June 10, 1995, J.G.,1 a juvenile, was charged with one count of simple burglary and one count of illegal possession of stolen things. The juvenile denied the charges on July 5, 1995, at which time indigent defender, Brian Caubarreaux, was appointed to represent the juvenile.
