Appellant Jamal Anton Reed was charged by indictment with aggravated sexual assault with a deadly weapon and aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon. Upon his plea of not guilty, the jury convicted him in each case, and in each case sentenced him to eighty years' confinement in the Institutional Division of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.
