Butler Company, alleging that Butler violated Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended, 42 U.S.C. § 2000e et seq., by terminating her employment in retaliation for her making complaints regarding what she alleges were hostile and discriminatory working conditions. The district court granted summary judgment in favor of Butler on the ground that Ortiz's claim was moot because, even if she prevailed...
