PER CURIAM.

Plaintiff, Eleanor Peters, sued defendant, the Michigan Department of Corrections, for the alleged wrongful death of Leo Paul Peters. The trial court granted summary disposition to defendant pursuant to MCR 2.116(C)(7) (governmental immunity) and (C)(8) (failure to state a claim). Plaintiff appeals as of right, and we affirm.
