OPINION

FEDERICO G. HINOJOSA, Jr., Justice.

This is an accelerated appeal from the denial of a writ of habeas corpus. By a single point of error, appellant contends that the operation of TEX.REV.CIV. STAT. ANN. art. 6687b-1, § 7(b)2 and TEX. PENAL CODE ANN. § 49.043 offends the "multiple punishments" double jeopardy protection provided by the Fifth Amendment4
