After plaintiff Kathy Ann Walker was raped at her apartment, she sued the apartment owners, defendant Sturbridge Partners, Ltd., the operating managers, defendant The Horn Blow Partnership, d/b/a The Horn Harlow Companies (collectively "Sturbridge") and the alleged rapist, a fellow tenant at her complex. Plaintiff alleged, inter alia, negligence and breach of contract because a rear kitchen window, through which the assailant gained entry, was not secured...
