OPINION

CHEW, Justice.

James Alan Blessing appeals his conviction for the felony offense of driving while intoxicated. The jury found Appellant guilty and assessed punishment at confinement in the Ector County Jail for 2 years and a $2,000 fine. We reverse and remand for a new punishment hearing.
