Defendant, Samuel Davis, was charged by grand jury indictment, filed on June 22, 1995, with one count of armed robbery, in violation of La.R.S. 14:64. On July 26, 1995, defendant waived formal arraignment and entered a plea of not guilty. Defendant filed a motion to quash the indictment on August 14, 1995, which was granted by the trial court on August 17, 1995. The state appeals the quashing of the indictment, alleging one assignment of error....
