BRIGHAM, Justice.

Appellant Micheal Joseph Gowan was convicted of aggravated sexual assault, aggravated kidnapping, and burglary of a habitation. See TEX. PENAL CODE ANN. §§ 22.021, 20.04, 30.02 (Vernon 1994).
