Appellant worked as a welder for Air Systems, Inc., which manufactures custom-made, stainless-steel equipment for commercial restaurants. He was diagnosed with carpal tunnel syndrome shortly before he quit working there on October 1, 1993. The administrative law judge found that his condition was a compensable injury. The Workers' Compensation Commission reversed in a 2-1 decision, finding that he had failed to prove by a preponderance of the evidence...
