This appeal arises from a defamation case brought by Ted Dracos against the San Antonio Express-News, Jeanne Jakle, Hart-Hanks Communications, Inc. and Hart-Hanks Television, Inc. The trial court denied a motion for summary judgment filed by the Express-News and Jakle; both parties then brought this accelerated, interlocutory appeal.
