Bear Stearns & Co. and Bear Stearns Securities Corp. (Bear Stearns) appeal from a ruling denying a motion to stay proceedings and compel arbitration of the claims made against them in a civil action by the plaintiff, L. Jean Bullis (Bullis). After reviewing the record and considering the arguments presented, we conclude that the controversy between Bear Stearns and Bullis is arbitrable.
