This appeal is from the grant of a motion for judgment notwithstanding the verdict in a suit by plaintiff-appellant against appellee Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) alleging negligence by a WMATA Metrorail station manager in failing to intervene while witnessing a criminal assault on plaintiff Rebecca Robinson by a third person.
