In November, 1993 the defendant, Dr. Francisco Lopez, filed for bankruptcy under Chapter 7 of the bankruptcy code. The plaintiff, Gay C. Ricca-Stroud, opposed Dr. Lopez' bankruptcy discharge arguing that Dr. Lopez failed to disclose or significantly undervalued several assets on his bankruptcy schedules.
