The sole issue in this premises liability appeal concerns the district court's refusal to allow evidence by the plaintiffs that the acting manager of the motel where plaintiff Paul McIntosh fell and was injured had, immediately thereafter, ordered a deicing compound to be applied to the area where the fall occurred. The ruling excluding this evidence was premised on Iowa Rule of Evidence 407 relating to subsequent remedial measures and Iowa Rule of Evidence...
