Paul Taylor was charged with three counts each of assault in the first degree and armed criminal action. He was convicted of the assault charges and sentenced to 30 years for one count and 15 years for each of the other two counts, all sentences to run concurrently. He appeals his conviction on the grounds that: (1) shotgun shells discovered in a trash can at Mr. Taylor's residence should have been suppressed as the result of an unreasonable...
