This wrongful death lawsuit arose from a motor vehicle accident which occurred on U.S. Highway 165 in Allen Parish on September 18, 1992. Colen Kesler was killed when his company vehicle was struck by a tractor-trailer rig operated by Thomas H. Thedford. Suit was instituted by Rita Kesler, Brandon Kesler and Kasey Kesler.
