James, was charged by bill of information with one count of conspiracy to commit armed robbery, in violation of La.R.S. 14:26 and La.R.S. 14:64, and one count of armed robbery, in violation of La. R.S. 14:64. Defendant entered pleas of not guilty, which he later withdrew and, with the assistance of counsel, entered a plea of guilty to armed robbery.
