Kevin Lane Fontenot appeals his conviction for assault. Fontenot pled nolo contendere pursuant to a plea bargain agreement. Following the plea, the trial court assessed punishment of 90 days in the county jail plus a fine of $100, probated for 12 months, in accordance with the State's recommendation.
