Charles Edward Carter, defendant, was charged by grand jury indictment with second degree murder, in violation of La. R.S. 14:30.1. He pled not guilty, and after a jury trial was found guilty as charged. Defendant received a life sentence, without benefit of probation, parole, or suspension of sentence, and was given credit for time served. Defendant has appealed his conviction. Defendant's attorney filed a brief with this court raising two issues...
