This appeal involves a claim for negligent infliction of emotional distress originally brought by Rita Brown, appellee herein, and her husband, Dennis Brown, against Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine ("PCOM"), appellant herein, and Dr. Harvey Bryant.
