This appeal arises from a suit by the parents of Corliss Diane Ancrum against appellants Tarrant County, Nizam Peerwani, M.D., P.A. and Dr. Stephen L. Putthoff (sometimes collectively referred to as "appellants") for damages caused by an alleged negligently performed autopsy. Dr. Peerwani, P.A. is the Chief Medical Examiner for Tarrant County.
