While on parole from a sentence imposed upon him as a second felony offender following his conviction of the crime of rape in the first degree, petitioner was charged with aggravated harassment based upon several threatening and harassing telephone calls to a female victim. As a result of the criminal charge, petitioner was also charged with violating his parole. Petitioner ultimately entered a plea of guilty to the underlying criminal charge...
