Tyler Pipe Industries, Inc., successor-in-interest to Tyler Pipe Industries of Texas, Inc. ("Tyler Pipe"), sued State Comptroller John Sharp and State Attorney General Dan Morales (collectively the "Comptroller") seeking a refund of sales taxes paid in the purchase of certain equipment.
