Plaintiffs, Lisa Felix wife of/and Eldon L. Ellsworth, sued the defendant, Sheila Hightower West, on a promissory note. The trial court maintained the defendant's exception of prescription. We reverse and remand for further proceedings.

I. The first payment on the note was not due until December 31, 1989.
