Judgment unanimously affirmed.

Memorandum:

We reject the contention of defendant that he was deprived of a fair trial by the conduct of the trial court. County Court did not display bias against defendant, and we conclude that the court's comments "did not prevent the jury from reaching an impartial verdict" (People v McGriff, 201 A.D.2d 672, 673, lv denied 83 N.Y.2d 913).
