After the Supreme Court reversed his first degree murder conviction and death sentence and remanded the case,1 Mark Hattaway was charged by amended indictment with, and ultimately convicted of, second degree murder. La.R.S. 14:30.1. The trial court imposed the mandatory sentence of life imprisonment at hard labor without benefit of parole, probation or suspension of sentence. Hattaway appeals, urging 48 assignments of error...
