On August 15, 1991, the Jefferson Parish Grand Jury indicted Glen Seals for the first degree murder of Metry Cab driver Ray Feeney, in violation of La.R.S. 14:30. After proceedings conducted during the week of July 19, 1993, a twelve-person jury unanimously voted to convict the defendant Seals as charged. After the guilt phase of trial concluded, the same jury then considered evidence presented at the sentencing phase...
