Following a jury trial on February 27 and 28, 1995 in the Circuit Court of the City of Richmond, appellant, Aaron Lamont Barnes ("Barnes"), was convicted of two counts of murder, two counts of using a firearm in the commission of murder, and possession of a firearm after having been convicted of a felony.
