The Complaint in this action, alleging racial discrimination, was brought pursuant to Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended, 42 U.S.C. § 2000e, et seq. ("Title VII"), and 42 U.S.C. § 1981. Jurisdiction is asserted under 28 U.S.C. §§ 1331 and 1343.
