YELVERTON, Judge.

Defendant, Joann Gines, an attorney, appeals a judgment against her in a legal malpractice suit brought by Johnny Lee Maxie, her former client. We affirm.

Gines had represented Maxie in a worker's compensation claim. Maxie's present malpractice suit alleged that Gines failed to properly represent him by allowing the claim to prescribe, barring him from recovering worker's compensation benefits. The malpractice
