MEMORANDUM-DECISION AND ORDER

MUNSON, Senior District Judge.

Presently before the court is petitioner's motion to correct his sentence pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2255. For the reasons set forth in this Memorandum-Decision and Order, petitioner's motion is denied.

BACKGROUND

On March 14, 1995, petitioner pled guilty to two counts of illegal possession of firearms by a convicted felon, in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 922(g)(1)....
