James Ellis and Wayne Kennair were charged, by bill of information filed on October 18, 1993, with two counts of conspiracy to commit first degree murder in violation of LSA-R.S. 14:26:30. The two charges relate to two separate plots to kill Russell Protti and Leigh Barton.
