The defendants have appealed an award of worker's compensation benefits to Kathy G. Arnold as a result of an accident that occurred on August 13, 1991. The hearing officer found that the plaintiff sustained a work-related accident that rendered her temporarily totally disabled. The defendants assert that the hearing officer committed manifest error in finding that a work-related accident occurred, and that the hearing officer applied the incorrect burden...
