Lawrence E. Vold was convicted by a jury of conspiracy to manufacture methcathinone, a Schedule I controlled substance. 21 U.S.C. §§ 841(a)(1), 846; 21 C.F.R. § 1308.11(f)(4). Joel R. Cox pleaded guilty to the same offense. Vold and Cox appeal their sentences.
