KNOLL, Judge.

Defendant, Tyrone Davis Henry, was indicted with first-degree murder in violation of La.R.S. 14:30. Prior to trial, the indictment was amended to second-degree murder in violation of La.R.S. 14:30.1. After a three day trial by a twelve member jury, the defendant was convicted of the lesser included offense of manslaughter under La.R.S. 14:31.
